When Mable and the gang go to a magic show to unwind, things get out of hand.
This magician is a great showman, but what he's doing goes way beyond sleight of hand. Mable knows chaos magic when she sees it, and this human is messing with a power guaranteed to bite the hand that wields it.
When the show goes sideways, Mable has no choice but to step in and save everyone with her wind magic. The magician begs Mable to help him while he learns to control his spells.
When he makes her an offer she can't refuse, Mable agrees to stick around until he gets his act together.
Little does Mable know she should have refused his offer. He stole the magic from an Amazonian shapeshifter who is coming back to collect what's hers...and then some.
Can Mable save LA from rampaging wizards? Or will she and her friends be consumed by the wake of the shapeshifter’s vengeance?
