I can't express all my appreciation for your support of this series project. Now, I need to move into fulfillment mode and start getting ready to send you some awesome books.
What's Next?
Now I wait for Kickstarter to collect the funds from the backers and send it my way. That usually takes about two weeks.
Keep an eye on your email. If there's a problem processing your payment for some reason, Kickstarter will email you to log in to your account and remedy the payment method.
I'll start setting up Backerkit right away so it's ready to send surveys out and get you ready for fulfillment. There will be opportunities to pick up any add-ons you missed when you pledged. Stay tuned. I will release another update when the time comes to send out the surveys and explain that process.
When Can I Expect My Rewards?
After I receive payment, I'll start organizing to get everyone their books or other rewards. My goal is to get book 1, Unlikely Guardian, out to backers in ebook and audiobook form by the end of the month. That will get you started on the series. Most of the rest of the digital rewards will be sent in September.
The Audiobook for book 3, Fieldtrip Fae, may be delayed beyond October. My narrators are supposed to start recording book 2 in a week or so and they are scheduled to begin book 3 soon after that. I'm working with them to expedite editing and return the final files to me quickly. I'll keep you apprised about that as I find out more.
The physical signed paperbacks will be mailed out in October. I can't put the orders in until the backer surveys are completed since some may add paperbacks in their add-ons. I'll continue to send updates here to everyone to alert you to my progress.

We are in the final weekend and I can't wait to start sending out rewards to all the backers of this campaign. One of those items is the signed, personalized postcard with the cover artwork on it.
This is a pledge-level item and is also available as an add-on. You'll also be able to select it during the backer survey stage after the campaign ends. I will send these anywhere in the world!

I woke up this morning and we were sooooooooo close to hitting $3,000.
$13 to be exact.
We're also just over $500 from the next stretch goal.
Running a Kickstarter is like riding the waves. Sometimes you sit there and bob up and down in the swells. Other times you're watching that big one coming.

First Stretch Goal Reached at $2,500!

We did it!
Yes, the first stretch goal is reached and I'll be able to include the incredible chapter header images from my graphic artist in each of the books. This is a first for me to add custom images at the top of each chapter and I'm very excited to do it for this project.
Next Goal of $3,500 Is In Sight
The next goal is a custom series wallpaper digital image for everyone who backs the campaign. I can't wait to share this with you all! It's a scene from book 1, and the artist captured it perfectly!
