Hi all,
We have a few stragglers who have not completed their surveys. After tomorrow, you can still complete them, but your rewards may be late coming in.
Orders and surveys will be locked in tomorrow, Sept 7th, 2023. That allows me time to order what is needed to send out in a timely fashion. Late surveys will be handled, but there's no guarantee you'll get your rewards at the same time as everyone else.
Book 3, Fae PTA, is Back From the Editor!
I just got book three back from the editor. It'll take me a week or so to go through that and fix anything then it's off to the narrators to get on their schedules and for formatting into ebooks and paperbacks so they can be ordered.
I'm excited because the next part is perhaps my favorite-- Fulfillment. I know many Kickstarter folks dread fulfillment, but I just feel like Santa Claus on Christmas Eve every time I take a load to the post office.
The Schedule Moving Forward
Watch for ebooks and other digital rewards this month (September).
Simple physical rewards like just pins and signed postcards will start going out late this month into October 2023.
Signed paperbacks will go out in October. I will order the proofs right away and will have them in hand in a few weeks. Once they are approved, I will order the big batches and start boxing up the big orders of physical goodes. (batches, we don't need no stinkin' batches). (sorry, couldn't resist) IYKYK

Locking Orders in a Week
I'm going to lock down everyone's orders in a week on September 4th, 2023. This is important so I can order books and swag items to send to folks. You'll still be able to adjust your mailing address after that time, but your add-ons and pledge levels will be locked in.
I can't wait to get these books to you. I'm proofing the audiobook for book 2 now and waiting for book 3 from my editor. The audiobooks are turning out great and I'm looking forward to seeing the print versions, too.
Surveys Coming - Watch Your Inboxes

I've finished the Backerkit setup and the surveys are starting to come out.
Smoke Test
First, a "smoke test" email will go out to a random selection of backers (about 5%). This ensures there aren't any problems with the surveys and allows me to correct an error we didn't catch in the first pass.
Full Surveys Go Out
After the folks answer the initial smoke test surveys, I'll approve the rest of the surveys to come out. The sooner you respond and get these back to me, the sooner I can start sending out the rewards.
If you haven't received your survey email by Wednesday, Aug 30th, check your junk folders for an email from Backerkit.com.
Add-Ons
Any of the items from the Kickstarter campaign are available as add-ons a la carte for you during the survey stage. Feel free to get the things you want to add now. Some of these items are only available through Kickstarter and Backerkit.
Funding Is In!

Kickstarter has transferred the funds to my account and now it's time to proceed with the rest of the project.
Next steps
Surveys will be coming out next week. Watch for an email from Backerkit.com. Fill out your surveys and add in any extras you'd like along the way. Once everyone has gotten their surveys in, I can proceed to fulfillment of the campaign rewards.
Digital rewards will start going out right away after the surveys. Books 1 and 2 ebooks are ready to deliver and I should have book 3 ready to deliver before the end of the month.
Audiobooks are in production. Book 1 is completed and book 2 should be completed by the end of August. Book 3 production will begin as soon as our narrators' schedules line up. I'll keep you up to date on this as production commences.
Physical books and other rewards are on schedule to be delivered as planned in October. Watch for updates and unboxing pics and video of the book proofs when they come in.
Don't hesitate to ask me any questions you have along the way. That's what I'm here for.

One Week Out Update

It's one week after the campaign ended. Book three, Field Trip Fae, is with the editor. Book 2, Fae PTA, is with the narrators, and I'm prepping BackerKit to manage your pledges.
A reminder to make sure you check your emails and junk folders for any notifications from Kickstarter about collecting your pledges. If all goes according to plan, Kickstarter should forward the funding to me sometime after next Tuesday (two weeks from campaign end). Once I have everything in, I can start ordering the paperbacks and other items for delivery.
If you know anyone who missed the campaign and wants to get in at the last minute, send them to the BackerKit preorder store where they can order items from the campaign tiers. When I send out the backer surveys, you'll have the option to add on other items to your pledge levels if you want.
